Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management Studies (DYPIMS) is one of the illustrious galaxies of educational endeavors of Dr. D. Y. Patil Pratishthan. The Institute is housed in a spacious and plush building located at D. Y. Patil Pratishthan’s complex, Akurdi, a suburb of the mega industrial township of Pimpri-Chinchwad.
Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management & Research (DYPIMR) established in 1994 and grew exponentially to reach the pinnacle of excellence in academics, placements, entrepreneurship and research. DYPIMR practices what it teaches and preaches. It is the only institute having an opportunity of “on campus internships” for the students in domains like Digital Marketing, Analytics, Web Development, Software Development & Testing, Sales and Marketing, Human Resource Management etc. These internships are offered to deserving students in addition to mandatory summer internships in corporate to help them acquire practical skills and knowledge.
DYPIMR is approved by AICTE and affiliated with SPPU and DTE, which help it to have the best curriculum for all courses. DYPIMR can boast of being the “First and only Fully Digital Institute” among all colleges under SPPU. It is also reflected in being the pioneer institute under SPPU which has been granted an emerging course MBA (Digital Marketing) with an intake of 60 students along with already successfully running MBA with an intake of 180 students and MCA with an intake of 120 students.
