MCKV Institute of Engineering (MCKVIE) is a private engineering college founded in the year 1999. It is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology and approved by AICTE. The college offers UG and PG degree courses in the disciplines of Engineering and Management. The flagship courses of MCKVIE include B.Tech across 9 disciplines and M.Tech in Electronics & Communication. Other courses of the institute include B.Voc across 3 specializations and an MBA program accorss 4 specializations. Admission to the B.Tech courses depends on the candidate’s performance in WBJEE or JEE Mains whereas valid GATE or PGET scores are required for M.Tech admission. Candidates who have a Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc can opt for Lateral entry in the B.Tech course by appearing in JELET and obtaining a valid score. Accepted entrance tests for MBA enrollment are CAT/GMAT/MAT/JEMAT/XAT.

The institute aims to provide high-quality technical education under a strong team of faculty members and has also maintained a great placement record over the years. MCKVIE is a partner of NPTEL and has also signed MoU for academic collaborations with IIT Kharagpur, TATA Power, SAK Robotix Lab, the start-up centre of IIT Bhubaneswar, and some more.
