Vardhaman College of Engineering was established in 1999 by Vardhaman Educational Society, Hyderabad. Currently Dr. T. Vijender Reddy, an Orthopedic Surgeon specialized in joint replacements, is the Chairman of the College; Mr. T. Upender Reddy, a Mechanical Engineer, is the Secretary of the Organization. They are ably supported by Mr. M. Rajasekar Reddy, Vice-Chairman, is an educationist by profession and Mr. E. Prabhakar Reddy, Treasurer and a businessman. Vardhaman College of Engineering (VCE) was established in the year 1999 by Vardhaman Educational Society, Hyderabad. It is a UGC Autonomous college, approved by AICTE, and is permanently affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. We offer undergraduate B.Tech programmes in CSE, CSE (AI&ML), AI&ML, AI&DS, IT, ECE, EEE, ME and CE; postgraduate M.Tech programmes with specialisation in DECS, PEED, CSE, SE, and ED; MBA programme; and doctoral programmes in CSE, ECE and ME. The college is accredited by NAAC at A++ grade with a CGPA of 3.58 on a scale of 4. Six of its UG engineering programmes – B. Tech ECE, EEE, CSE, ME, CE, and IT are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi under the Tier-1 category. VCE is the most sought-after institute to make the dreams fulfilled for many aspiring engineers. B.Tech


Bachelor of Technology (BTech) is a professional undergraduate engineering degree programme awarded to candidates after they complete four years of study in the field. Engineering is one of the most popular courses in India and there are many institutes that offer the course to aspiring students.

For admissions, the most common BTech entrance examinations are JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Along with these national level entrance examinations, there are many state and private level entrance examinations that the students can attempt for admission to the course. The basic eligibility criteria for BTech is class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. However, there are additional criteria in every entrance exam and institute. Some of the institutes also conduct admission to their courses on merit basis i.e. based on marks scored by candidates in their class 12 board exams.
